
HR Business Partner (Malaysia)

Summary
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to agency and other entities including headcount budgeting & planning, employee lifecycle management, employee engagement & relations, talent development & management and ensuring external & internal HR compliance to local labour laws and regulations.
The HR Business Partner (Malaysia) will also be collaborating with Regional Business Stakeholders for the completion of tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement HR initiatives to support the organization's objectives
- Proactively identify and resolve HR/People issues to achieve business goals
- Responsible for annual headcount & payroll cost budgeting, budget spend management and proper governance in accordance with business requirements
- Pursue continuous improvement on employee engagement through local activities and actions which includes communication of employee engagement survey results, facilitate action planning and managing its execution thereafter
- Day to day HR Operations and supporting/execution of HR strategy aligned with the business strategy
- Partner with business stakeholders and other HR colleagues regionally to identify training needs of our local employees and developing our employees
- Participate in the annual performance development process and facilitate the calibration & appropriate distribution in a timely fashion
- Talent management responsibilities (e.g. employee transfer, promotion, performance management) and organizational development (e.g. organization structure review)
- Hands-on execution of employment contract, training, payroll and benefits, and P-file management
- Review and update local HR policies/processes consistently to ensure business remains compliant internally and externally with the local laws and regulations, Health, Safety & Environment aspects and stay competitive in the market
- Responsible for HRBP support in accordance to Reporting Manager and adhoc requests from internal/external Functional Heads
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from Human Resource / Business Administration or related discipline
- At least 5-10 years of HR Business Partnering / HR generalist experience
- Fluent in both the local language and English as you would be dealing with local authorities and working in an internationally diverse workplace
- Strong in local labour laws & regulations and kept abreast of the changes
- Good writing and interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills
- Possess strong communication and strong stakeholder management skills
