Job Responsibilities

  • Market Entry & Business Expansion: Develop and execute a successful market entry and expansion strategy in Malaysia.
  • Operations & Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and oversee the local team, including hiring, training, and performance management of key roles (RT, CS, Marketing).
  • Business Development & Partnerships: Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, service providers, and corporate clients.
  • Financial & Performance Management: Set financial targets, manage budgets, and ensure profitability by optimizing operations and revenue streams.
  • Marketing & Customer Growth: Develop and implement localized marketing strategies to attract users and recruit service providers.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Legal Matters: Ensure compliance with business laws, licensing requirements, and labor regulations in Malaysia.
  • Customer Experience & Service Quality: Monitor service quality, gather user feedback, and continuously improve customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in startups, tech, or service industries.
  • Proven track record in business expansion, market entry, and P&L management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train, and manage a local team.
  • Experience in partnership development and stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of Malaysia’s business landscape, labor laws, and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Malay
