Job Responsibilities
- Market Entry & Business Expansion: Develop and execute a successful market entry and expansion strategy in Malaysia.
- Operations & Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and oversee the local team, including hiring, training, and performance management of key roles (RT, CS, Marketing).
- Business Development & Partnerships: Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, service providers, and corporate clients.
- Financial & Performance Management: Set financial targets, manage budgets, and ensure profitability by optimizing operations and revenue streams.
- Marketing & Customer Growth: Develop and implement localized marketing strategies to attract users and recruit service providers.
- Regulatory Compliance & Legal Matters: Ensure compliance with business laws, licensing requirements, and labor regulations in Malaysia.
- Customer Experience & Service Quality: Monitor service quality, gather user feedback, and continuously improve customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in startups, tech, or service industries.
- Proven track record in business expansion, market entry, and P&L management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train, and manage a local team.
- Experience in partnership development and stakeholder management.
- Understanding of Malaysia’s business landscape, labor laws, and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malay
