Job Responsibilities: Accounts Payable Management: Oversee and lead all processes involved in the full accounts payable cycle; Ensure completeness of the Purchase-To-Pay (P2P) process in alignment with financial policies and procedures; and Process payments and financial transactions to suppliers accurately and in a timely manner. Expense Review and Approval: Review and approve all staff and student expense reports, as well as cash advances; and Conduct thorough reviews of credit card clearances and reconciliations from Corporate Card Holders to ensure accuracy and completeness in ERP Oracle. Vendor Management: Assist in the registration of new vendors; Collaborate with internal stakeholders for effective monitoring and timely payments to vendors; and Address inquiries and resolve issues related to vendor payments. Tax Compliance: Prepare WHT (Withholding Tax) tax computations and oversee the processing and submission of WHT payments. Process Improvement and Automation: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function; and Actively explore and implement automation solutions to enhance workflow efficiency. Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with internal stakeholders, including finance, and other departments. Respond promptly to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders regarding accounts payable matters. CPU (Central Procurement Unit): Assist in preparation of documentation for QEC and tender process Coordinate and execute procurement activities in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. Ad Hoc Support: Provide support and assistance with ad hoc tasks as required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Proven experience in a finance role, with a focus on accounts payable and financial operations; 3-4 years of working experience in procurement, payables, tax, payroll and budgetary controls; Knowledge of Malaysian Accounting and Reporting Standards; Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements; and Knowledge of Oracle ERP or equivalent is preferred; Ability to work independently and remotely, with minimal guidance; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both orally and in writing; A positive attitude with ability to interact with a cross section business units and levels in the organization with good problem-solving skills; and Ability to generate and implement ideas for continuous improvement of systems and processes.
