Key Responsibilities


  • Design and implement mechanical systems for data centers, including HVAC, cooling systems, fire suppression, and plumbing.

  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical system issues to minimize downtime and maintain seamless data center operations.

  • Maintain detailed records of mechanical system configurations, maintenance schedules, and compliance with safety regulations.

  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all mechanical work meets project specifications and quality standards.

  • Monitor and optimize the performance of cooling and ventilation systems to ensure energy efficiency and adherence to sustainability goals.

  • Participate in emergency response efforts, providing technical support to resolve mechanical system failures quickly and effectively.

  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in mechanical engineering for data centers through continuous learning and professional development.

  • Provide input on mechanical system designs during project planning and contribute to the preparation of technical documentation and reports.


  • Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required. field. OR additional four (4) years of related experience. OR additional four (4) years of related experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within a data center or critical environment.

  • 3+ years of senior level construction management or design management experience.

  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical design principles, and relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD).

  • Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors.

  • Ability to work well within a team environment while also being capable of taking initiative when necessary.

  • Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, ISO, and NFPA related to mechanical systems.

  • Experience with system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and energy efficiency optimization.

  • Proficiency in mechanical design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software.

  • Fluent in Thai, Malay (depending upon location) and English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
