Job Description:
The International Business Development Consultant located in Kuala Lumpur will animate the ecosystem and support business development initiatives within Southeast Asia. The candidate will be supervised directly by the head of Business Development SEA in Singapoure.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect new clients
- Lead generation through digital platforms, face to face meetings, and networking events
- Develop local eco-system across the country
- Identify partnership opportunities
- Structure and animate the current network, as well as provide a prospection strategy
- Reach sales objectives fixed by the head of Business Development
- Proactively communicate, deliver, and interact with clients and partners
- Prepare reports, presentations, and deliverables
- Regularly liaise and collaborate with teams across Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand
- Build company reputation by representing the firm in community activities, professional associations, and partnerships
- Establishing and maintaining strong personal networks
- Work closely with the group APAC, and global subsidiaries and contribute to the overall strategy for the region
- Support the regional HQ, Singapore for Business Development activities
- Attend trade fairs and participate in trade mission
Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Between 3 to 5 years of professional experience in consulting and business development
- Sales experience in a foreign market is a plus
- “Hands-on” profile: Must be well-connected, able to interact and start new relations and be involved in the delivery process.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Malay. Chinese is appreciated

- salary: 6,000 RM to 8,000 RM (up to negotiations depending on experience.)
