Customer Operations Air & Ocean Freight

We are looking for a Customer Operations and Documentation Officer for our existing clients. It is a great opportunity in a growing logistics company based in Kuala Lumpur. Job Scope: • To effectively manage and control customers’ air and ocean freight logistics in and out of Malaysia for international clients. Responsibilities: • Coordinate with suppliers across the country for bookings, shipping windows for purchase orders, coordinate for new businesses and documentation. • Follow standard operating procedures to manage day to day Air & Ocean operations and documentation. • Coordinate with shippers, consignees, forwarding agents, warehouse, partner offices & agents across Asia Pacific and beyond to ensure smooth cargo flow. • Plan and manage shipments in an efficient manner to be very cost effective. • Input shipment data in system in a timely and accurate manner. • Verify documents provided by the customers, shipping lines, warehouses etc. • Create invoices and follow-up for payments with customers and overseas offices. • Assist the management on routine tasks as well as future planning.
