In this role you will: Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in solar and green energy technologies. Innovate and recommend optimal configurations for solar systems, including batteries, inverters, solar pv modules, circuit breakers, and other electrical and electronic components. Evaluate and recommend suitable products from various suppliers to ensure high efficiency and reliability. Provide expert technical support to troubleshoot issues related to solar and green energy systems. Monitor customers' solar installations to ensure optimal performance and promptly address any technical problems. Conduct site visits to assess technical requirements and determine the suitability of solar installations. Continuously monitor the performance of installed solar systems and generate reports on system efficiency and issues. Utilize monitoring tools and software to ensure systems are operating within specified parameters. Perform technical assessments at customer sites to evaluate the feasibility and suitability of solar installations. Provide detailed reports on site conditions and recommend necessary adjustments or configurations. Assist in the creation and updating of Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and other technical drawings. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all technical support activities, system configurations, and site assessments. Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Work closely with the sales and project management teams to provide technical expertise during project planning and execution. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to gather product information and support decision-making processes. Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency and reliability of solar and green energy systems. Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge. QUALIFICATIONS To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in solar energy or a related field (experience in electrical system design a plus). In-depth knowledge of solar energy technologies (solar panels, inverters, batteries, etc.). Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices. Proficiency in electrical design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD). Experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools for solar energy systems (a plus). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to travel to customer sites. Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in solar energy technologies.
