A Lead QAQC (Quality Assurance and Quality Control) Manager in construction plays a vital role in ensuring that all aspects of a construction project meet the required quality standards. Their job scope is broad and involves overseeing quality control processes, managing teams, and implementing strategies to ensure projects are delivered with the highest possible standards. Job responsibilities:- Develop corporate and project quality assurance management strategy. Establish and implement systems, control and procedures appropriate to activities throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. Preparation, implementation and monitoring, quality assurance manual, project quality control plans, supplier quality system, contract quality plan, departmental procedures, work instructions to ensure they meet the QA requirements. Weekly and monthly Quality Status Reports for project controls. Develop PMX project quality plan. Perform documents control of department for ISO, OHSAS, DOE and DOSH, etc. Resolve all NCRs raised during the process by providing solutions and countermeasures as well as inspection planning and quality auditing. Ensure subordinates and all project construction workers are following the quality control procedures. Maintain the process of quality assurance by ensuring thorough & detail check during construction stage and testing. To lead and guide the team of department by achieving the Company objectives and departmental KPIs. To train, manage and support subordinates so that high level of morale and good working attitude can be maintained which would result in higher productivity, cost effective and better efficiency. To promote team spirit, motivates subordinates and develop inner skills and potentials. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, construction management, or a related field is required. Minimum 5 years of experience work in construction QAQC management and familiarity with a wide range of construction methods and materials. Certifications such as ISO 9001, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Six Sigma can be beneficial. Health and safety certifications like OSHA or NEBOSH are also valuable in ensuring compliance with site safety. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and standards. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and quality management systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
