Manage store staff Fully responsible for the receipt, storage, and issuance operations of the stock from the store, following the first in first out (FIFO) method. Refuse the acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items. Ensure that the store is always clean and organized. Report damaged or problematic stock items to specific department management. Conduct stock quantity checks to avoid discrepancy or damage. Ensure on-hand stock bookkeeping matches physical stock consistently. Responsible for purchase requests for items that need replenishment to prevent running out of stock. Verify all items sent to the store, maintain accurate records, and manage all documentation to confirm correct stock levels and retention.
