Golf Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role: VAM Property Management (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Golf Supervisor to assist the Golf Superintendent in maintaining and operating a golf course at Sungai Buloh. This role is hands-on, requiring you to perform regular inspections, supervise on-ground activities, and ensure the golf course's condition meets the expectations of residential owners and their guests. The Golf Supervisor will be vital in coordinating with contractors and ensuring smooth day-to-day course operations. Key Responsibilities: Support the Superintendent: Assist the Golf Superintendent in executing and monitoring all maintenance and operational tasks for the golf course. Supervise Maintenance Activities: Oversee the day-to-day work of outsourced contractors and maintenance workers to ensure the quality and timeliness of tasks such as mowing, irrigation, and landscaping. Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and irrigation systems to identify and report issues promptly. On-Ground Coordination: Ensure maintenance schedules are adhered to, and resources like fertilisers, pesticides, and equipment are effectively utilised. Problem-Solving: Address minor operational issues on-site and escalate major concerns to the Golf Superintendent for resolution. Safety & Standards: Ensure all work complies with the Golf Superintendent's environmental, safety, and maintenance standards. Collaboration: Work closely with the golf course team and contractors to implement directives from the Golf Superintendent. Qualifications: Prior experience in golf course maintenance or a related role is preferred. Basic knowledge of turfgrass, irrigation systems, and golf course equipment. Strong organisational and time management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with contractors and team members. A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving. Ability to work outdoors and handle physically demanding tasks.
