At least Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Networking or any relevant field. At least 1 year of working experience in the relevant working experience. Ability to verify that switches and routers as well as their configured network services and protocols operate as intended within a given network specification. Must have the ability to troubleshoot network effectively in a network operations environment. Basic understanding of network monitoring concepts and management tools. Ability to assess fault, priorities, response and escalate accordingly. Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written in Bahasa Malaysia and English (knowledge of additional languages such as Mandarin, would be a strong advantage). Excellent organizational, good time management, multi-tasking, prioritization of workload and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently with little supervision. This position will require shift work to includes nights, weekends and holidays (24x7x365) Manage and maintain the Danawa’s Monitoring System (this report on the status and performance of Danawa’s network, upstream services and facilities). Monitor automated and end user incident and outage reporting, troubleshoot, and resolve problems. To provision customer network services on core equipment. Provide direct customer support when required. Facilities maintenance (monitoring and management of air-conditioning, UPS, generators, power usage, running health and safety and housekeeping checks at Danawa’s Core System room). Create reports on services availability and performance bandwidth usage, server utilization, and other key metrics.
