Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant Your primary responsibility will be to provide health services to employees (foreign workers and locals). This includes treating injuries and mild to acute sicknesses, supporting employees with chronic illnesses, and educating employees on public health issues such as communicable diseases and proper hygiene. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate with employees and provide recommendations to the employer on various public health and safety issues. Responsibilities • Conduct monthly health checks on all foreign workers • Provide basic healthcare to employees in case of injury or acute illness • Develop health plans for employees with chronic illnesses and disabilities • Educate employees on healthy habits, such as proper nutrition and hygiene • Detect health problems in early stages through regular screenings • Keep track of employees’ medical records • Ensure farm environment is safe for employees (e.g. prevention of communicable diseases) • Liaise with medical doctors and government health authorities • Ensure compliance with national and local health laws Requirements and skills • Minimum – Diploma in Nursing or Medical Assistant • Hold a current license/registration to practice • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
