Factory Manager (Manufacture Wood & Custom Furniture)

Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational Management: - Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising production activities to meet production targets and deadlines. - Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards. - Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth operations. 2. Team Leadership: - Supervise and guide factory staff, including operators, technicians, and supervisors. - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training as needed. - Address staff issues and promote a positive work environment. 3. Compliance and Safety: - Ensure adherence to workplace safety, health, and environmental standards. - Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. 4. Resource Management: - Optimize the use of resources such as raw materials, equipment, and manpower. - Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges. 5. Continuous Improvement: - Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement solutions. - Collaborate with the Factory Manager on initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Job Requirements: Education and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. • Diploma holders with extensive relevant experience may also be considered. Experience: • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in factory operations or production management. • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred. Skills and Competencies: • Strong understanding of production processes and factory management principles. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and production software. • Excellent leadership and team management skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
