Sprayer Semi Skilled (Automotive)

JOB SUMMARY: Transport equipment painters use painting machines and hand tools to coat individual parts and to paint the surface of all types of transport equipment such as cars, buses, boats, aircraft, motorcycles and railway cars. They prepare the surface of the pieces for the paint and apply the coaat. Transport equipment painters can perform industrial painting or individual customisation. They may also remove or repair painting errors such as scratches. RENSPONSIBILITIES: - To do spray work in Solid and Metallic paint. - To help; assist; take charge/carry out any job/arrange/help other staff to do works at Assembly or the factory section. - Make full use of the Company’s ISO & 5’S System on daily work requirements to increase productivity and quality work. - To ensure all machines, equipment, and tools within the company are well-maintained and reviewed. QUALIFICATIONS: - Proven experience as an automotive sprayer, preferably with a focus on trucks and large vehicles. - In-depth knowledge of spray painting techniques, materials, and equipment. - Familiarity with different types of paint and their applications. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good physical stamina and the ability to work in a standing position for extended periods. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. - Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to the automotive painting industry. WORKING CONDITIONS: - Work is performed in a paint shop environment, which may involve exposure to fumes, chemicals, and varying temperatures. - Use of PPE, such as masks, gloves, and protective clothing, is required. - May require occasional overtime or weekend work to meet deadlines.
