Job Description: 1) Manage the development, implementation, administration and management of the financial aid program. 2) Provide expert advice and assistance to students seeking loans, grants, scholarships and financial aid. Thoroughly review applications to ensure accurate and complete information during the application process. 3)Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of all financial aid transactions using spreadsheets, data entry systems and other recommended tools for efficient record-keeping. 4) Ensure strict levels of confidentiality and security are maintained to safeguard sensitive financial data. 5) Conduct assessments of student needs and continuously evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures related to financial aid. 6) Interpret, apply and strictly comply with all regulations governing the financial aid procedure for students. Requirements: a) Experience: Prior experience in grant writing, fundraising or financial management is preferred. b) Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational abilities to effectively manage financial aid programs and provide guidance to students. c) Knowledge of Funding Sources and Regulations: Familiarity with funding sources, grant application processes, and regulations governing financial aid procedures for students. d) Record Keeping: Proficiency in maintaining accurate and organized documentation using spreadsheets, data entry systems, and other recommended tools. e) Confidentiality and Security: Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality and security in handling sensitive financial information. f) Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess student needs, evaluate service delivery methods and identify areas for improvement. g) Relationship Building: Skill in building and maintaining positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, and external partners.
