Warehouse Assistant (Engineering Store)

1) Monitor and maintain inventory levels of spare parts, hand tools, powered tools and consumables used in maintenance activities. 2) Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory records to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment of maintenance supplies. 3) Assist in coordinating with the Purchasing Department for the procurement of direct and indirect materials required for maintenance operations. 4) Report procurement needs and material shortages to immediate superior for coordination with the Purchasing Department. 5) Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming materials and parts to ensure it matches the order specifications and in good condition. 6) Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by ensuring that all items are properly stored and easily accessible. 7) Adhere to safety protocols for the handling and storage of tools and materials to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. 8) Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
