Production Operator Job Description Briefing We are seeking a skilled and efficient Production Operator to operate and maintain our production machinery. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth production process by monitoring equipment and reducing instances of operational failure. Production Operator responsibilities include assembling parts, operating machinery, troubleshooting production equipment issues, and performing quality control checks. Our ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, have excellent attention to detail, and are familiar with industrial safety standards and guidelines. Responsibilities Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available Run and properly monitor production equipment Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations Ensure that final products meet quality standards and specifications Report any malfunctions or abnormalities with the equipment to maintenance personnel Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machinery Basic math and computer skills to record, interpret, and analyze production data. Ability to work in a team environment, cooperating with co-workers and following leadership directives.
