About The Role
- Work Location : 1Powerhouse, PJ (5mins walk from MRT Bandar Utama)
- Reporting To : Employee Data Lead
- Working Hours : 2PM - 11PM
Key responsibilities
- Manage a busy service request queue, resolving HR reporting requests within agreed service levels, managing escalations where required in line with the GBS escalation process.
- Build intelligent data collection, munging and automation tools with complex matching / filtering.
- Build and maintain clean data lakes and historical analysis ensuring data integrity and security for analytics, exploration and characterization; meet regulatory standards (e.g. GDPR).
- Interact with functional experts to understand key challenges and articulate unstructured business concerns as precise problem statements.
- Continuously improve ways of working looking for opportunities to remove manual data input and/or extracts.
- Explicitly plan the scope of analysis, success criteria, business impact & milestones.
- Provide analysis of report usage and end-user feedback
- Use simple, modern data visualization to represent insights that help data driven decision making.
- Utilize appropriate descriptive statistics techniques to identify patterns, correlations, probabilistic / deterministic causes & generate relevant hypothesis & insights.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, HR, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience of experience in an HR role with exposure on data analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools.
- Strong expertise in Excel, including the use of macros and advanced formulas.
- Hands-on experience with data manipulation and automation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, or R).
- Familiarity with designing and maintaining clean data structures, including data lakes.
- Proven knowledge of descriptive statistics with the ability to identify patterns, correlations, and actionable insights from large datasets.
- Previous experience in HR reporting or working with HR systems is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of data governance standards (e.g., GDPR) and experience ensuring data integrity and security.
- Prior experience with SuccessFactors is highly desirable.
