Job Description • Monitoring and analysing the performance of the solar plant to identify areas for optimization and improvement. • Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues that may arise in the solar plant equipment. • Liaising with contractors and vendors to coordinate O&M activities and procure necessary materials and services. •Developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the plant operates at peak performance. • Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. • Performing acceptance ratio and performance ratio tests to evaluate plant performance and efficiency. • Collecting data, processing work orders, and preparing summary reports on maintenance activities. • Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment to support maintenance activities and minimize downtime. • Monitoring tools and spare parts inventories to ensure availability for maintenance activities. • Issuing permits to work for O&M activities in accordance with safety protocols and scope of services. • Developing daily schedules and assignments for work activities and executing tasks according to plan. • Communicating daily activities to management and stakeholders through regular reports to ensure transparency and accountability. • Training and supervising other maintenance staff to ensure all work is performed correctly and safely. • Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the operation and maintenance of the solar power plant. • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time. Job Requirements • Holds Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering • Holds Suruhanjaya Tenaga Certificate of B0 33kv Competency or above from the Energy Commission Malaysia • Candidates who have passed SEDA’s Grid-Connected Photovoltaic (PV) System Course for Wireman and Chargeman and / or Solar PV Installation and Maintenance courses will have added advantage. • At least 3 years working experience in operation, maintenance, and management of a large-scale solar facility.
