Job Description • Regularly inspecting and cleaning solar panels to maximize energy output. • Inspecting and maintaining panel support structure and building facilities to ensure safety and integrity. • Inspecting and maintaining electrical wiring and connections to ensure safety and efficiency. • Monitoring and troubleshooting inverters and other electrical components for proper functioning. • Conducting regular preventative maintenance on all equipment to minimize downtime and ensure peak performance. • Performing system tests and checks to identify and address any issues promptly. • Monitor and supervise all site landscaping and maintenance of the garden and grassed areas are completed in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. • Supervise and organise contract maintenance tradesmen, general workers and cleaning staff. • Supervise and manage non-technical contracts as required within the facility. • Maintain high quality of plant history in CMMS or other available maintenance recording system. • Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and energy production. • Collaborating with other team members and contractors to complete necessary repairs and upgrades. • Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others. • Responding to alarms and emergencies in a timely manner to minimize downtime and any potential damage to the solar plant. • Assist in preparing annual budget and any proposal for project/ improvement works. • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time. Job Requirements • Holds Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering • Holds Suruhanjaya Tenaga Certificate of AO Competency or above. • At least 3 years working experience in electrical related field.
