Qualifications & experience  Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.  Proven experience as a Purchasing or Procurement  Strong knowledge of house construction processes and materials.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with contractors, workers, and management.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and others related software. Tasks & responsibilities  Source, evaluate, and select suppliers of construction materials, tools, and services specific to house construction, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgets.  Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and project requirements.  Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.  Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and quantity surveyor to understand material requirements and timelines for each project phase.  Oversee the delivery, storage, and use of materials and equipment on-site, ensuring efficient utilization and minimizing waste.
