Key Responsibilities: Machinery & Auxiliary Systems Management Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all machinery and auxiliary systems, including engines, compressors, pumps, and generators. Ensure optimal functionality and reliability of mechanical systems to support continuous operations. Maintenance Planning & Execution Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for machinery and auxiliary equipment. Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime during planned or corrective maintenance activities. Team Leadership & Supervision Supervise and guide technicians and support staff in the maintenance and repair of equipment. Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance technical skills and operational knowledge. Safety & Compliance Ensure all maintenance and operational activities comply with company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments on machinery and auxiliary systems. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving Diagnose faults and malfunctions in machinery and auxiliary systems and recommend effective solutions. Coordinate with vendors and specialists for complex repair tasks when necessary. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment logs, inspection reports, and maintenance schedules. Prepare and submit performance reports for machinery and auxiliary systems to management. Spare Parts & Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and consumables required for machinery and auxiliary systems. Ensure timely procurement and replenishment of critical components. Emergency Response & Preparedness Lead the team in responding to equipment failures and emergencies. Participate in emergency drills and ensure machinery readiness for contingency operations. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in machinery and auxiliary systems maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Experience in offshore, oil and gas, or marine industries is highly desirable.
