Marine Equipment Maintenance & Repair Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of marine systems, including engines, propulsion systems, pumps, and auxiliary machinery. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on marine equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Operational Support Support daily operations of the marine systems and ensure compliance with established safety and operational procedures. Monitor and operate marine systems and equipment in accordance with standard operating practices. Safety Compliance & Standards Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies during maintenance and operational activities. Conduct regular safety checks on marine equipment and provide risk assessments where necessary. Team Leadership & Training Lead and mentor junior technicians and provide guidance on technical best practices. Assist in planning and scheduling maintenance activities with the team. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and incidents. Prepare reports on marine equipment conditions and provide recommendations for improvements or replacements. Emergency Response Participate in emergency response drills and ensure readiness to handle marine-related emergencies. Provide technical support during emergency repairs and critical operations. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Diploma or technical certification in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in marine systems maintenance, preferably in offshore or oil and gas environments. Proven expertise in working with propulsion systems, pumps, and auxiliary marine equipment. Skills: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for marine equipment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and engineering drawings. Leadership and mentoring abilities. Certifications: Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) is highly preferred. Offshore safety and survival certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET). Physical Requirements: Ability to work in offshore environments with extended periods away from shore.
