Rigger

Job Summary Rigger are responsible for lifting, aligning, and anchoring machinery, equipment, attaching loads, controlling the movement of heavy equipment inside or outside both of Submarine and ensuring the rigging is safe for use. Rigger will assist all maintenance department to carry, handling & lifting item and equipment or any loads more than 25kg depends on request. Key Roles Responsibilities: - Inspecting and preparing loads that need to be moved or lift - Setting, aligning & leveling heavy equipment - Selecting the appropriate rigging gear - Preparing rigging lifting tools & gear - Inspecting rigging before final use - Monitoring & maintaining lifting equipment - Inform superior of potential problems & inherent danger involved - Provide information or reports to supervisors by telephone, in written form, e-mail or in person on the work status progress - Developing constructive & cooperative working relationships with others & maintaining them over time - To work independently in accordance with customer's work planning - To maintain through knowledge of the principles, practices, equipment, tools & materials used in the tasks to be carried out - Responsible for complying with all health & safety policies and procedures at workplace - To carry out other activities as deemed fit by superior - Communicating with the rigging unit & all maintenance departments - Breaking down rigging equipment & conducting post rigging inspections - Maneuvering loads using heavy equipment, tools, & by hand - Ensuring compliance with the state & company safety procedures
