Functional Responsibilities The Airworthiness Review Staff is responsible for carrying out an Airworthiness review on documents and aircraft and ensuring all Airworthiness Activities are within the compliance to relevant Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia Requirements. To issue an Airworthiness Review Report (ARR) for the purpose of Certificate of Airworthiness issuance/renewal. To be accepted by CAAM under MCAR Regulation 33 and authorized as per Civil Aviation Directives 6802 to carry out airworthiness reviews and issue Airworthiness Review Report. Functional Duties a) To Issue an Airworthiness Review Report that includes documentation review & aircraft physical inspection and make recommendations to the CAAM for the purpose of C of A issuance/renewal, as appropriate. b) Raise the Airworthiness Review Findings if required and ensure the findings have been addressed properly. c) To ensure the Airworthiness Review Report findings analysis record and supporting documents have been properly kept and safe. d) Plan Airworthiness Review activities. d) Ensure updated airworthiness review management procedure and ensure compliance with relevant Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia Requirements. f) To manage yearly scheduled fleet Certificate of Airworthiness Renewal. Minimum working experience a) At least 3 years’ experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management. b) Comprehensive knowledge of regulations and standards applicable to the airworthiness of the aircraft (Part M, Part 145, CAAM CAD, etc). c) General Familiarisation with aircraft type rated PA-28 & PA-44 series. d) Holds CAAM-appropriate license issued in accordance with CAD 1801 or relevant engineering degree acceptable to CAAM. Other Requirements: a) Possess personal traits: friendly, mature, humble, honest, meticulous; self-starter; able to perform under pressure in a challenging environment. b) Proficient in oral and written English. c) Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel, word, outlook, and Access. d) Ability to maintain high confidentiality, tactfulness, and discretion when dealing with people. e) Capable of imparting knowledge to new trainees. f) Confidence in theory as well as in practical demonstrations. g) High Sense of commitment and dedication. h) Independent with a good work ethic. i) High comfort level working in a diverse environment.
