Country Sales Manager
OIG is the largest frozen meat import service platform in China, handling over 1.8m tons of animal protein imports per year with exceptional coverage of upstream animal protein plants internationally. With global headquarter setup in Singapore, OIG is looking to expand its sales into Southeast Asian markets starting with Malaysia. Looking for local Country Sales Manager in frozen animal protein imports to develop business sales in the respective markets.
Responsibilities:
· Work independently to conduct analysis/study on Malaysia's frozen meat (beef, pork and poultry) import market, including key importers, import and custom clearance process, first tier distribution networks, prices at each layer and key market players.
· To explore and develop sales leads with Malaysia meat importers, initiate and conclude trade leveraging on Group’s supply networks.
· To develop business relationships with Malaysia's meat import service providers to facilitate the meat trading process.
· To be the spearhead of Malaysia's market local sales, and with the motivation to lead the future local sales team.
Requirements:
· To be based in Kuala Lumpur.
· Proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, responsible and professional in work ethics.
· 3-5 years of sales experience in animal protein/meat sales/trading business, familiar with Malaysia animal protein import market, proven track record in animal protein import sales.
· Solid knowledge of sales funnels, building sales strategy and increasing sales pipeline.
· Strong negotiation and relationship development skills.
· Will be able to work independently and provide daily update to headquarter in Singapore.
· Fluent in Malay and English, both spoken and written.
