Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities

  • To Lead and Motivate a Team of 30 to 45 Employees and Team Leads.
  • To manage the processes using various operating tools such as Cyberlog, SETS SmartVu, Cognos, DMS and Meridian prior to cut off times.
  • To handle exception processes by working closely with Account Managers, IT Team and customers to jointly resolve customer issues and minimize business impact.
  • To ensure team members are properly trained to perform work assigned.
  • To monitor performance of the team by participating actively in the performance reviews
  • To understand local business requirements and propose appropriate solutions
  • To meet the different local market practices under his/her jurisdiction.
  • Initiate appropriate process improvements to enhance better team performance Constantly review processes and procedures, ensure the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is up to date
  • Is responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of PSA BDP’s Management System and that the Standards are followed and enforced.
  • Ensure compliance to legislative requirements are met or exceeded
  • To adapt cost leadership strategies
  • To conduct quarterly review meeting with the Team, and monthly process review meeting with the Executives and Team Leads
  • Ensure continuous talent development program
  • Recruiting, interviewing, selecting and maintaining qualified staff
  • Review performance data through QC Log, GNC report, KPI report, volume summary, leave balance and upload to BDPSmart.com.
  • To produce, coach and guide internal talents as part of succession planning.
  • Monitor and Audit Reefer Shipment

Required experience/ skills & Qualification

  • Education: Diploma Holder (Minimum)
  • Experience: 2 Years (Minimum)
  • At least 2 years of prior experience at supervisory level
  • Possess strong leadership skills, Ability to supervise team in highly stress environment, Adaptable to changes, Team player and self-starter.
