  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Senior Accountant with significant experience; no additional backup support from a firm will be provided.
  • We are not seeking to outsource to an accounting firm; this is a direct hire role.
  • Proficient in Excel and SQL.
  • Skilled in using computers and the latest accounting software.
  • Must be available to work in the office once a week, Monday to Friday (strictly no weekends).
  • Payment is per day as an all-in rate; no additional visit or allowance rates.

Responsibilities:

  • Month-End and Year-End Closing:
  • Prepare for month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, adjustments, and P&L accounts.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Generate and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
  • Tax Compliance:
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax filings, including GST, SST, corporate income tax, and filing Form C.
  • Stay updated with changing tax regulations.
  • Audit Support:
  • Assist in coordinating and providing documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Compliance:
  • Keep up-to-date with financial regulations and standards in Malaysia, ensuring all financial activities comply with local laws and regulations.
  • Accounting Software and Tools:
  • Utilize accounting software and tools effectively to streamline financial processes and reporting, specifically SQL accounting.
  • Additional Tasks:
  • Prepare monthly budget reports.
  • Monitor revenue growth and transactions, providing regular reports.
  • Keep track of bank accounts and handle company secretary matters.

Accountant Tasks:

  • File tax documents with relevant authorities, including Form C, CP58, CP38.
  • Manage filings with EPF, EPCB, SOCSO, and EIS.
  • Handle accounting tasks related to P&L, costing, bookkeeping, and payroll.
  • Respond to audit queries.

Important:
Applicants must be a Senior Accountant willing to work independently without backup from an accounting firm. Must commit to coming in once a week between Monday and Friday. The pay rate is per day, covering all services, with no separate visit or allowance rates. Please apply only if you agree to these terms.
