Product Design Analyst

• Analyst product designs using models, prototypes, specialist computer software and computer-aided design (CAD) technology. • Investigating Appropriate Materials and Production Processes • Presenting Designs, Samples and Final Work to Customers for Evaluation • Evaluate exiting products and recommend improvements. • Work with product development team to complete the assigned project within allotted budget and timelines. • Maintaining an awareness of current design trends and influences. • Facilitate changes to product portfolio to improve competitive position and optimal product performance. • Analyse product issues and provide appropriate resolutions. • Identify areas of improvements and concerns and recommend corrective actions. • Share new product ideas and concepts to Manager to meet revenue goals. • Stay abreast with latest product development tools and techniques. • Analyse customer requirements and provide optimal product development solutions. • Maintain expert product knowledge for timely issue resolution. • Respond to product related questions from staffs in a timely and accurate manner. • Generate routine and ad-hoc product reports to management. • Develop process improvements to ensure product quality and productivity. • Provide support to project team from product design to implementation. • To support Engineering Team in design tasks and to ensure products are designed and completed within the given time frame. • Manage engineering drawings and perform product improvement from time to time. • Responsible for all new product improvement/development from designing, process, and production. • Responsibility for a special project on designing and preparing production dwg/cutting list for the production floor. • Manage/control production drawings and work closely with the production team to ensure the production process is efficient and quality is achieved • Perform product improvement to ensure cost-effectiveness and manufacturability of designs. • Keep connected with the global team regarding the product updates or new product implementation. • Perform drawing management to ensure that all the drawings are up to date. • To construct/revise 3D models for new and existing products. • Prepare drawings and cutting list for incoming project inquiries from project coordinator
