Job Summary

The Waitstaff is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests by ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle customer interactions professionally, maintain efficiency during service, and uphold the standards of the restaurant and cocktail bar.

Working Hours

Shifts are typically from 2:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

  • Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring proper presentation and quality.
  • Check on guests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction and handle any requests professionally.
  • Provide accurate billing and process payments using the POS system.

Service Operations

  • Set up and prepare tables, ensuring cleanliness and proper arrangement of tableware, glassware, and condiments.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of service areas, including bar and dining spaces.
  • Assist in opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and resetting tables.
  • Ensure compliance with restaurant service standards and hygiene regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth operations.

Quality and Hygiene Standards

  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of glassware and utensils.
  • Ensure all beverages and dishes are served at the correct temperature and presentation.
  • Report any service issues or guest concerns to the management promptly.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.
  • Assist in special events, private hires, and functions as required.
  • Support new team members by providing training and guidance when necessary.
