Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Team Lead to support our company's IT infrastructure within the courier industry domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT networking, be detail-oriented, possess strong leadership qualities, and demonstrate excellent project coordination skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our IT infrastructure.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Ensure a proper active & reactive maintenance process.
2. Responsible for all IT infrastructure.
3. Lead the team, arrange, and monitor team duties.
4. Update every task and project progress to the manager.
5. Plan and manage preventive maintenance process.
6. Perform vendor management, propose IT asset purchases and ensure all stock is properly organized.
7. Manage the antivirus console
8. Repair/upgrade computers and servers.
9. Install and troubleshoot network peripherals.
10. Manage the firewall and perform network configurations.
11. Manage the Imaging Unit for scanning process
12. Oversee the IT asset disposal process.
13. Act as the Incident Response Team leader for any IT infrastructure issues.
14. Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:
1. Candidate must be a Malaysian citizen.
2. Possess at least Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3. 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and people management
4. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure equipment, including network switches, firewalls, APs, servers, PCs, laptops, etc.
5. Extensive experience in firewall configuration, including rule management, network security policies, VPN setup, redundancy management, load balancing, intrusion prevention, and traffic monitoring. Proficient in IP segmentation, access control lists (ACLs), user authentication policies, and deep packet inspection (DPI). Strong knowledge of network configuration, including network port management, TCP/UDP, TLS, SSL, NAT, VLANs, and other security protocols to ensure a secure, scalable, and efficient network infrastructure. Proficiency in Fortinet products is a plus.
6. Strong expertise in managing Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, and NAS. Proficiency in VMware is a plus.
7. Experienced in cross-functional thinking, problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
8. Good oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
9. Ability to manage tasks effectively and provide regular updates.
10. Must have own transport. Occasional travel within peninsula Malaysia will be required

Work Environment

The team operates in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Team members may be required to work outside of standard business hours to monitor critical infrastructure management and address issues as they arise. This role may also involve on-call responsibilities.

Working Hours:
Mon-Fri 8:30am-6:00pm
