  • To support operation in restaurant quality matters in compliance with franchisor and local authority requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate and conduct training for the restaurant operations team i.e. Food Handler, Food Safety Training based on Operations demands.
  • Complete all the necessary reviews and key information into FOSIM within the stipulated timeline.
  • Support Restaurant Operations Compliance Check by working closely with operations to analyze and rectify issues highlighted by the auditor and ensure submission of action plan to franchisor’s quality assurance is done in a timely manner.
  • Address customer complaints and ensure problem resolution by verifying complaints, conducting investigations to identify potential root causes and providing recommendations to Operation to avoid recurrence of similar issues.
  • Support the restaurant operations team in working with Pest Control Operator for any ad-hoc pest issues.
  • Monitor product quality at restaurant level.
  • Review restaurant layout map by collaborating with Maintenance and designer to review any restaurant layout that will undergo re-modelling, major renovation (including new stores) to facilitate food safety practices.
  • Store pre-opening support to facilitate food safety.
  • Design, plan and conduct Limited Time Offer (LTO) product development, as and when requested by Marketing/Operations.
  • Conduct ad-hoc product test for new supplier or new ingredient.
  • Conduct Monthly Customer Satisfaction and Food Safety Review briefing with Operations, analyze and prepare relevant reports for superior’s review.
  • Support restaurant operation to identify any FSQ concerns and ensure corrective action is effective.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Food Science/Food Technology/Food Engineering/Food Microbiology/Food Service or any relevant food related discipline.
  • Preferably with 1-2 years of working experience in food and beverage industry related to QA field.
  • Preferably certified Food Handler trainer.
  • Having Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor Certification will be an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding in Food Safety & Quality system.
  • Able to work independently, a team player and proactive.
  • Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal).
  • Able to work during odd hours or during the weekend as and when required.
  • Willing to travel independently within major district in Sabah and Sarawak.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
