Assistant (Account)
Duties & Responsibilities:
· To assist on assigned project accounts.
· To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality, safety, health & environmental system.
· To comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.
· To implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment.
· To take responsibility for prevention of work-related injury and health.
· To carry out data entry including verification of suppliers’ invoices, debit note, payment certificates and petty cash claim.
· To prepare payment voucher and cheque.
· To reconcile the suppliers and subcontractors statement of accounts balances.
· To liaise with the personnel at site on accounting matters.
· To take charge of filing of accounts documents.
· To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· STPM or SPM preferably with LCCI intermediate.
· Have Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
· Minimum 3 years working experience.
· Self-disciplined and able to work with minimum supervision.
· Knowledge in applicable legal and other requirements.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
