Job Responsibilities:
- Implement, and continuously improve the company's QHSSE management system in alignment with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with QHSSE policies.
- Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance employees' understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Stay abreast of local and international QHSSE regulations and standards applicable to the Oil and Gas industry.
- Ensure that the company's operations and facilities adhere to all relevant legal requirements and industry guidelines.
- Foster a safety culture within the organization by promoting awareness and accountability at all levels.
- Manage environmental aspects and impacts, ensuring the development and implementation of sustainable practices.
- Oversee general administrative functions, including office management, facilities, and logistics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to QHSSE activities, incidents, and compliance.
- Prepare and present regular reports to management on QHSSE performance, trends, and improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans to handle potential incidents or crises effectively.
- Manage work by communicating task expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising task results.
- Work with everyone to set annual and semi-annual objectives in line with business strategy and individual development requirements and follow-up on the achievement of these objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification: Diploma or Degree related to safety and health field
- Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills: 3 years of experience in safety and health
- Professional Certifications: Related to safety and health will be an advantage
- Understanding of and experienced in project management principles and techniques.
- Self-motivated, pro-active, committed, and flexible with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-national and multi-cultural work environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be fully committed to safety.
- Must be able to perform all duties, tasks, and key responsibilities safely.
- Must be able to comply with COMPANY procedures.
- Must have good management qualities and ability to cooperate with the team.
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
