DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and supervise all mechanical and electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on the construction site.
- Ensure the implementation of the M&E design drawings and specifications.
- Supervise the work of subcontractors, engineers, and technicians, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Provide leadership and coordinate between different teams to ensure timely completion of M&E tasks.
- Inspect and ensure that the mechanical and electrical installations meet the project’s quality standards and specifications.
- Promote a safety-first culture and ensure the project complies with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks, and enforce safety policies on-site.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors for M&E materials and equipment.
- Keep detailed reports on the progress of M&E work, including schedules, manpower, and material usage.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including site diaries, progress reports, and inspection records.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
- Relevant trade certifications in mechanical or electrical systems would be a plus.
- Proven 3-5 years experience as an M&E supervisor, site supervisor, or in a similar role in the construction or facilities management industry.
- Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of M&E systems in construction projects.
