Executive, Finance & Accounts
Location : Wisma DRB Hicom Shah Alam, will relocate to Plaza Sentral
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Accounts Executive to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, assist in financial reporting, and support the overall financial management of the company. You will also be responsible for compliance with accounting standards and timely preparation of financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions, journal entries, and ledger updates. Ensure timely and accurate posting of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Financial Reporting
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Reconciliation
Perform regular bank and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring that all discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner. Ensure alignment between financial statements and supporting documents.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are a plus.
Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar industry. Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) is advantageous.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
