1) To assist superior in preparing monthly closing of accounts (Company and consolidation of group accounts) in a timely manner in compliant with Malaysian generally accepted accounting practices.

2) To handle account payable and account receivable function related included booking journal entries, maintaining general ledger and account. Perform daily financial transactions, which includes verifying, classifying and recording AP/AR data.

3) Process invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor/debtor accounts against vendor/debtor monthly statements.

4) Facilitate timely payment and collection of invoices by following-up and liaising with end users and/or vendors/debtors.

5) Handling monthly reconciliation for bank, debtor and creditor.

6) Perform timely posting / clearing of prepayment or aged items in SAP.

7) Responsible to update balance sheet items schedule (accrual, provision, prepayment, deposit, subsidiaries, etc) on monthly basis.

8) Generate relevant AP/AR reports for analysis purposes.

9) Understand relevant tax issues surrounding certain vendor/debtor invoices. Preparation of workings towards SST / GST / audit / tax schedules for submission.

10) Responsible for submission of SST / GST / withholding tax.

11) To liaise with internal and external auditors to support the audits of financial statements.

12) To liaise with banker, secretary, tax agent and other relevant government authorities.

13) To assist superior in coordinating and working together with all departments to formulate and prepare annual Company’s costing and budget.

14) Preparing annual budgets, forecasts and projections and completing the year-end analysis

15) Ensuring compliance of policies and procedures by all departments and proper controls are in place to safeguard the assets of the Company.

16) To provide periodical account and Finance Report and Analysis as required including proposal for improvement.

17) To adhere and observe all the government laws and regulations, IMS-ISO, and Company’s rules and regulations.

18) To ensure actions and decisions are always guided by the Company’s mission and key corporate values.

19) To undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior or management of the Company from time to time.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 30 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
