ServiceNow Business Analyst
Role Context:
The ServiceNow Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for the ServiceNow platform. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure that the ServiceNow solutions meet the needs of the organization and align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for ServiceNow enhancements and new functionalities.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of ServiceNow processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Provide training and support to end-users on ServiceNow functionalities and best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation for ServiceNow processes and configurations.
Project Management:
- Manage and prioritize ServiceNow enhancement requests and projects.
- Coordinate with the development team to implement solutions based on business requirements.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of ServiceNow enhancements and updates.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of ServiceNow solutions.
System Administration:
- Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user management, configuration, and maintenance.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Implement and manage ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL standards and best practices in all ServiceNow processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in ServiceNow business analysis and administration.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and experience with ITSM tools.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including scripting, workflows, and integrations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) are highly desirable.
- ITIL V3/V4 Certification will be a plus.
- Familiar with the GEN-AI/ Now Assist will be a plus.
