JOB SUMMARY

Manage the development, protection, enhancement/cultivation and harvesting of agriculture or plants for the production of horticultural crops. This role involves managing agriculture facilities and farming staff to ensure the health and growth of agriculture/plants species, and implementing sustainable practices to optimize production and environmental impact.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  • To plan and implement proper- and effective preventive maintenance programmers for all maintenance and landscaping works.
  • Optimizing operational cost and liaise with local authorities where necessary. Correspondence and compliance with the requirement of regulatory authorities such as PPj and etc.
  • Ensure all upgrading works delivery within schedule, at minimum cost and meet quality and specifications approved by PPj.
  • genetics, irrigation, soil health, pest control, disease management and not limiting to conducting experiments, evaluating progress and providing regular progress update to Management.
  • Perform research on plants evolution, genetics and development to better understanding.
  • Any other assignment assign by Management from time to time.

Qualification and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture or Botany or a related field preferred.

Job Requirements
1. Minimum of 3 - 7 years of experience in agricultural or a related field.
2. Knowledge of appropriate planting/transplanting techniques and watering methods
including plant pests, pathogens and diseases and willingness to learn.
3. In-depth knowledge of plant biology, soil science, and pest management
4. Proficiency in the use of horticultural tools, equipment and technology.
5. Ability to analyze data and apply findings to improve operations.
6. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
7. Strong communication and team work abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
