General Worker (Cleaner)

Key Responsibilities:

General Cleaning:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the office.
• Dust and wipe down all office furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Clean and sanitize all high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, and telephones.
• Ensure all surfaces are free from dirt, debris, and clutter.

Restroom Maintenance:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., soap, toilet paper, paper towels).
• Empty waste bins and replace liners.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all restroom areas.

Waste Management:

• Empty trash bins across the office, including individual desks and common areas.
• Sort and dispose of recyclables properly.
• Ensure trash and recycling are disposed of in the correct manner.

Kitchen and Break Room Cleaning:

• Clean kitchen appliances (microwave, refrigerator, coffee machines) and countertops.
• Wash and sanitize dishes or items left in the sink (if required).
• Ensure kitchen/break rooms are stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., napkins, coffee).

Window and Glass Cleaning:

• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass doors to ensure they are streak-free and spotless.

Floor Care:

• Regularly vacuum carpets and rugs.
• Sweep and mop hard floors, ensuring they remain free from stains or spills.
• Address any spills promptly to prevent stains or accidents.

Other Duties:

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards, such as broken equipment or leaks, to the appropriate team members.
• Adhere to health and safety standards while handling cleaning chemicals and tools.
• Assist with any additional cleaning tasks or projects as assigned by the Facilities or Office Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
