We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced M&A Analyst to join our team in Penang.
Job Summary:
The M&A Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our M&A transactions, working closely with the founder and clients throughout the deal process. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in M&A.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of target companies, including financial statement analysis, valuation, and due diligence.
Develop financial models and projections to assess the financial viability of potential acquisitions or divestitures.
Prepare marketing materials, including confidential information memorandums (CIMs) and teasers.
Assist in the due diligence process, including reviewing financial documents, conducting industry research, and coordinating with third-party.
Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to identify potential targets and buyers.
Prepare presentations and reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
Assist in business development activities, including networking and attending industry events.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with business brokerage or small to medium-sized business transactions is a plus.
