The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and developing strategic sales plans to meet the hotel's financial goals. The role involves working closely with the marketing and operations teams to drive occupancy rates, increase sales, and enhance the hotel's brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new corporate, group, and individual business opportunities.
- Proactively seek out partnerships with travel agencies, event planners, and corporate clients.
- Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and packages with clients to maximize hotel revenue.
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the hotel.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
- Develop customized sales proposals and offers based on client needs.
- Address and resolve client concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction.
3. Revenue & Strategy Management
- Work with the revenue management team to set pricing strategies and optimize occupancy.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, revenue forecasts, and performance metrics.
4. Marketing & Promotion
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotions, packages, and advertising campaigns.
- Ensure all sales activities align with the hotel’s branding and positioning.
- Manage digital sales channels, including online travel agencies (OTAs) and direct booking platforms.
5. Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with other hotel departments, including front office, banquet, and catering, to coordinate events and group bookings.
- Train and mentor junior sales team members to improve overall team performance.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hotel sales, hospitality, or a similar role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems, CRM software, and revenue management tools.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet sales targets, and handle multiple tasks.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM8,536.75 per month
