Responsibilities

As an intern, you will be trained to ensure compliance with clients’ statutory requirements and complete responsibilities related to corporate secretarial matters within the given timeframe. You will also handle inquiries from related parties (clients, local authorities, auditors, etc.).

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Assistant Intern to join our team in Kajang. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting and finance. You will assist our accounting department with day-to-day tasks and support the team in maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining financial documents and reports.
  • Support the accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Help with data entry, filing, and record keeping.
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of invoices and processing payments.
  • Support the team in preparing for audits and other financial reviews.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
  • Perform other administrative and accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
