Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Take accurate customer orders, paying attention to special requests and dietary preferences.
  • Provide recommendations and answer customer inquiries about ROLLTI's roti canai wraps and menu items.
  • Efficiently process customer payments and handle cash transactions.
  • Assist in food preparation, including ingredient preparation, marinating meats, and assembling wraps.
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent food quality.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food orders to customers.
  • Address customer needs and resolve complaints or issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front counter area, including ensuring supplies are stocked.
  • Monitor food stock levels and communicate with the manager to ensure timely restocking.
  • Uphold hygiene and food safety standards, following health regulations and guidelines.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage and labelling of ingredients.
  • Assist in the washing and cleaning of kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and cleanup of the front counter and kitchen area.

Requirements:

  • We welcome any experience level but previous experience in the food and beverage industry or customer service roles is valued
  • Passion for food and a strong interest in Malaysian cuisine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Acceptable level of fluency in Bahasa Malaysia & English is required with other languages as a plus point.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation practice
