Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled UAT Tester with experience in eWallet, CASA (Current Account & Savings Account), and Fixed Deposit (FD) domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that banking and financial applications meet business requirements and function as expected. The role involves close collaboration with business users, developers, and project teams to validate system functionality, identify defects, and support smooth deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute UAT test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for eWallet, CASA, and FD applications.
- Work closely with business users, product owners, and developers to understand requirements and ensure business needs are met.
- Conduct end-to-end UAT testing across multiple banking systems, ensuring smooth integration between core banking, mobile banking, and digital payment platforms.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Validate transactions, account operations, fund transfers, and payment processing for eWallet, CASA, and FD functionalities.
- Identify, log, track, and report defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps.
- Coordinate with IT teams for bug fixes, retesting, and test sign-offs.
- Support UAT execution cycles, defect triage meetings, and test closure activities.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security policies, and industry best practices.
- Provide UAT status updates, test reports, and post-implementation support.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Banking, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), particularly in the banking and fintech sector.
- Strong knowledge of eWallet applications, CASA operations, and Fixed Deposit (FD) processes.
- Hands-on experience with UAT test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, qTest, TestRail).
- Familiarity with core banking systems, digital wallets, and payment gateways.
- Understanding of banking transactions, reconciliations, fund transfers, and interest calculations.
- Knowledge of SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in agile/Scrum environments and handle multiple test cycles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile banking and digital payment solutions.
- Familiarity with ISO 8583, API testing, and automation tools (e.g., Postman, Selenium).
- ISTQB or other QA certifications

Pay: RM2,677.71 - RM8,847.62 per month
