This role will primarily focus on ensuring the best possible hospitality experience for our residents and their families, ensuring comfort, satisfaction, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hospitality and Resident Services:

· Oversee daily hospitality operations, ensuring that all services (including dining, housekeeping, and activities) are provided at the highest standards.

· Ensure residents' needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns or complaints with professionalism and care.

2. Food & Beverage Services:

· Manage the dining experience for residents, working with the kitchen team to ensure meals are nutritious, appetizing, and tailored to individual dietary requirements.

· Ensure meal times are well-organized, pleasant, and provide residents with a sense of community and well-being.

· Implement special dining events or themed meals to enhance the residents' experience.

3. Staff Management and Training:

· Supervise and train staff to provide excellent hospitality services, focusing on customer care and attention to detail.

· Manage staff schedules, assigning duties to ensure smooth operations.

· Promote a positive, service-oriented culture among all team members, ensuring that every staff member upholds the home’s high standards of service.

4. Facility Maintenance and Cleanliness:

· Ensure all resident areas, including common spaces, dining areas, and individual rooms, are clean, well-maintained, and reflect a high standard of hospitality.

· Oversee housekeeping services and ensure that the elder home’s environment is safe, clean, and welcoming.

5. Resident Engagement and Socialization:

· Coordinate and support resident activities, programs, and events that promote social engagement, well-being, and mental stimulation.

· Work with the activities team to plan and organize events that enhance residents’ lives and create a sense of community.

6. Guest Relations and Communication:

· Act as a key point of contact for residents and their families, ensuring that they are informed and satisfied with the services provided.

· Maintain regular communication with families to provide updates on residents’ well-being and any special requests or needs.

7. Operational Support:

· Assist the Elder Home Manager with operational tasks, including budget management, financial reporting, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.

· Step in to take charge of operations in the absence of the Elder Home Manager, ensuring the highest level of service is maintained at all times.

Qualifications:

· Strong passion for providing excellent service and creating a home-like atmosphere for senior residents.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships and enhancing resident experiences.
