As Assistant Manager, Finance & Purchasing, your primary responsibility will be implemented of all Finance, Purchasing policies, and procedures for Hospitality Division, interpreting financial results and providing management with the tools for future planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness for financial statement, segmentation, and performance report for hospitality division.
  • Formulating financial control system and procurement system.
  • Responsible for preparation of yearly budget and business plan on financial aspect
  • Formulate, implement, and tollgate on financial and purchasing standards and procedures for hospitality division.
  • Review statutory/corporate reports inclusive of liaison with statutory department, bankers, tax agents, auditors etc.
  • Monitoring and managing daily cashflow.
  • Responsible in Fixed Asset Management.
  • Responsible to manage, supervise, guide and coaching the Finance & Purchasing team.
  • Ensure that all month end closing deadline is met and timely submission of relevant reports.
  • Perform checking accounting entries, journal voucher and review of monthly accounts prepared by subordinates.
  • Preparation of year-end audit and tax schedules, liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents on all statutory matters.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with all financial and accounting reporting as imposed by all relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Reporting and presenting accurate and timely financial information in accordance to group policies, legal and regulatory bodies.
  • Proactively assess the financial implications prior to the adoption of effective accounting standards.
  • To implement all necessary controls to safeguard the assets, operating equipment, supplies and inventories.
  • Liaison and coordinating for overall IFCA software.
  • To administer all the insurance matters for Hospitality Division in conjunction with the locally appointed insurance agent.
  • To review and ensure proper procedures and controls of purchasing and receiving.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
