Assistant Safety , Health and Environment Officer
Job Description:
1. Assist to monitor incidents and accidents, providing rapid response, investigation and reporting of all emergencies in the organization.
2. Assist to conduct mandatory training related to safety to ensure compliance with the company's and national requirement.
3. Asist to liaise with relevant authorities (e.g. DOSH, DOE, BOMBA) pertaining to safety and environmental related matters.
4. Assist to prepare safety & health work procedures, training materials, and documentation.
5. Assist to organize safety & health committees, and other relevant activities as per regulations.
6. Monitor On-Site contractor activity and understand local risks applicable to contractor and external service providers.
7. Advising OSH Committee in Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) for all job activities in every department.
8. Conduct toolbox briefing on monthly basis for every worker.
9. Preparing safety promotion and safety alert to increase workers’ awareness and knowledge for any safety issues.
10. Assist on handling the Scheduled Waste Management and Chemical Hazardous Management.
Job Related Skills:
1. Computer Knowledge in Microsoft Office Application MS Word, MS Excel & MS Power Point.
2. Positive and proactive attitude, dedicated, ambitious, good work ethic, able to work independently as well as in group.
3. Willing to learn new knowledge, patience, responsible and able to work in a challenging and dynamic working environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
