Job description Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Box Office Cum Operation Crew member to join our team at Encore Melaka. This role involves managing ticket sales, assisting guests, and ensuring smooth theatre operations. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, fluent in Mandarin, and capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Guest Engagement: - Welcome guests and assist with ticket sales transactions. - Provide friendly, efficient service and maintain a positive attitude at all times. 2. Box Office Operations: - Open and close the box office counters according to SOPs. - Ensure proper setup and execution of theatre closure procedures. - Operate POS equipment accurately and in line with procedures. 3. Ticketing and Sales: - Recommend the best seating options to guests based on their needs. - Set up and maintain the ticket counter in line with presentation standards. 4. Customer Service: - Address guest inquiries confidently and resolve challenges promptly. - Issue complimentary tickets as approved by management. - Provide ticketing services to the general public and tour groups. 5. Theatre Operations: - Cross-train and be ready for deployment to various sections within the Operations Department. - Follow SOPs for admission and theatre ushering, including roles like loader, unloader, and greeter. 6. Safety and Maintenance: - Report any system or machinery failures to the Supervisor. - Ensure the safety of guests, colleagues, and personal safety at all times. - Conduct bag checks and assist with queue and crowd management. 7. Additional Duties: - Handle last-minute requests and perform other tasks as assigned by superiors. Requirements: - Minimum of Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level. - Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia. - Experience in customer service, cash handling, and ticketing operations. - Computer literacy, especially in MS Office. - Team player with a friendly service manner and a natural smile. - Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and overtime.
