1. Read and familiarize project AFC drawings, Weld maps, WPS, specifications, procedures, ITP, shop drawings and applicable international codes and standards, such as ASME II, ASME I/VIII, ASME IX, ASME B31.1/ B31.3/ B31.4/ B31.8, AWS D1.1, API 1104, API 620/650, where applicable. 2. Develop QC Inspection package for the area/scope of works and get immediate supervisor approval. 3. Witness and endorse WPQT and WQT 4. Participate in relevant project meetings as and when requested by the supervisor/superior 5. Perform/witness quality inspection, testing and surveillance (prior/during/ after welding) as per the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) as directed by immediate supervisor 6. Engage with QA/QC Engineer to track the Request for Inspection (RFI) notifications submitted by Contractor and performing inspection in accordance with RFI. 7. Monitor welder & overall welding performance 8. Checks, review and sign off Contractor's QC Reports; Track and Control report completeness progressively prior discipline's handover. Responsible to ensure full integrity of reports. 9. Raise Quality Alert for potential non-conformity and NCR for non-conformity detected 10. Ensure Contractor inspection tools and test equipment are calibrated and in good condition 11. Ensure Contractor personnel has valid Competency, reporting with approved format and reference to approved procedure/ acceptance criteria. 12. Perform Daily Surveillance & prepare Report 13. Ensure that materials and equipment is properly preserved during contruction 14. When assigned, Welding Inspector to perform manufacturing surveillance scope at vendor's premise
